Okay, so I wanted to upgrade my RO system at home. After poking around a bit, I decided to go with a 200 GPD RO membrane. Let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be.

The performance is definitely better than the 75 GPD Dow one that my friend recommended to me. But if I had to recommend one, I’d say to go with the Spectrapure membranes. They cost more, but they seem to be of a higher quality. Of course, I’m just using this for my home, so your needs might be different.

All in all, it was a bit of a project, but I’m glad I did it. Upgrading to the 200 GPD RO membrane was definitely worth the effort. Just remember to double-check compatibility, be patient during installation, and test the water quality to make sure everything’s working as it should. It’s a small investment for something that can make a big difference in your daily life.
