Need a Pentair Big Blue Filter Housing? Check Out These Top Picks
Okay, here’s my experience with the Pentair Big Blue filter housing:
So, I needed a good water filter for my place. I did some digging and found out about these Pentair Big Blue filter housings. They’re supposed to be good for filtering a lot of water, which is exactly what I needed. I decided to give it a shot and bought one.
First thing I did was check out the housing itself. It’s pretty big and feels solid, made of some kind of durable material. It came with a shut-off valve, which is handy for when you need to change the filter. And the housing is clear, so you can see the filter and know when it’s time to replace it.
Installing it wasn’t too bad. I just followed the instructions, and it was up and running. I put a filter cartridge in there – they have a bunch of different types, so you can pick the one that suits your needs. I went for one that gets rid of sediment and chlorine because my tap water has a bit of both.
Putting the cartridge
- Opening it up: I twisted off the big blue part. It was pretty easy, didn’t need any special tools.
- Putting the filter in: The new filter just slid right in there. There’s a spot where it fits perfectly.
- Closing it back up: I screwed the blue part back on. Made sure it was tight so there wouldn’t be any leaks.
Once everything was set up, I turned on the water, and it worked like a charm! The water flow was good, no issues there. And the best part is, the water tasted way better. No more chlorine taste or sediment in my drinking water.
I’ve been using this filter housing for a while now, and I’m really happy with it. It does what it’s supposed to do, and it’s easy to maintain. Just gotta remember to change the filter every now and then, but that’s a small price to pay for clean water.
I am very happy with this and will use it for a long time.
