Big Blue Jumbo Filter: Is It Worth It? Check Out This Honest Review Before Buying

Okay, here’s a blog post about the “Big Blue Jumbo Filter” from a first-person perspective, fitting the requirements you’ve given.

So, I finally got around to installing that Big Blue Jumbo Filter at my place. I’d been meaning to do it for a while, ’cause the water quality where I live? Let’s just say it’s not exactly winning any awards. Clothes were looking dingy, and the water tasted like something you’d find in a rusty old pipe. Not cool.

I did some digging online, you know, reading reviews, comparing prices, all that fun stuff. Seemed like this Big Blue Jumbo thing was the way to go. It’s supposed to be great for houses with a lot of water usage and it takes out all sorts of nastiness from the water. Sounded perfect for me, especially since I do tons of laundry with a family at home.

First off, I had to gather my tools. I went to my garage to grab my tools. Nothing too fancy, just the usual suspects. Once I had everything I needed, I took another look at the instructions. They made it seem like a walk in the park, so I was feeling pretty good about the whole thing.

I started by turning off the main water supply. Didn’t want any surprise showers while I was working! Then, I installed this Big Blue Jumbo. I put it right after the main water line coming into the house, so it would filter all the water, not just the stuff going to the kitchen sink. Mounting it was a bit of a pain, not gonna lie, but I managed to get it up there solid and secure.

Next up, I put the filters inside the housing. The filter that came with it is used to block dirt from my water. I tightened it up good, then it’s time to connect the filter to the water pipes.

After everything was connected, I slowly turned the water back on, checking for leaks every step of the way. Thankfully, no leaks! I let the water run for a few minutes, just to flush out the system and get rid of any air bubbles. The water was coming out all cloudy at first, which I guess is normal, but it cleared up pretty quickly. And it’s not smelly, which is a big win!

The result? Seriously, I can’t believe the difference this thing makes. The water tastes way better, no more weird smells. And my laundry? It’s like night and day. Colors are brighter, whites are whiter, and everything just feels cleaner. It’s like I have a whole new wardrobe! I’m also noticing that my appliances, like the dishwasher and washing machine, are running a bit smoother. Guess they appreciate the cleaner water, too.

Overall, this Big Blue Jumbo Filter was a total win. It took a bit of elbow grease to install, but it was definitely worth it. If you’re dealing with not-so-great water quality at your place, I highly recommend checking this bad boy out. It’s a game-changer, for sure!
