Need Aqueon Replacement Filter Cartridges 100106076? Get the Best Deals Here

So, the other day, I noticed my fish tank was looking a little murky. You know how it goes – you feed the fish, they do their business, and things just get a bit cloudy over time. I figured it was time to change the filter cartridges in my Aqueon filter. I have the QuietFlow E Internal Power Filter Size 10, a pretty common one, I think.

First, I went online to find some replacement cartridges. I remember seeing something about the model number “100106076” so I searched for “Aqueon replacement filter cartridges 100106076”. Found a bunch of options, including some that reduce ammonia, which sounded good to me.

I decided to grab an 8-pack of the small filter cartridges. Seemed like a good deal, and I’d have extras on hand. Also grabbed a 12-count pack of ammonia reducer pads just to try them out. Those were specifically for my Aqueon QuietFlow LED PRO Model 10. You can usually find these things on big online stores, or even at your local pet shop. They’re not that expensive, so it’s worth it to keep your fish happy and healthy.

Once they arrived, I got to work. Unplugged the filter, of course, safety first! Then, I popped open the top of the filter. Pretty straightforward. Inside, I saw the old, gunky cartridge. Pulled that out – it was definitely time for a change! It looked pretty gross, to be honest.

  • Unplug the filter.
  • Open the filter top.
  • Remove the old cartridge.

Next, I took one of the new cartridges. They’re dual-sided, which is cool. I just rinsed it under some tap water for a few seconds. You gotta get rid of any loose carbon dust, or it’ll make your tank water all black and cloudy for a bit. Nobody wants that!

Then, I just slid the new cartridge into the filter, where the old one was. Super easy, like putting a slice of bread in a toaster. Closed the top back up, plugged the filter back in, and voila! Crystal clear water started flowing again. My fish seemed pretty happy about it, swimming around all lively-like.

Installation Steps

  • Rinse the new cartridge.
  • Insert the new cartridge.
  • Close the filter top.
  • Plug the filter back in.

Honestly, changing these cartridges is a breeze. It took me maybe five minutes total? And the difference in the water quality is noticeable. I’m going to keep using these Aqueon cartridges. My fish deserve the best, and these seem to do the trick! Plus, it is satisfying to see the water clear up so quickly.

I also add those ammonia reducer pads for the Aqueon QuietFlow LED PRO, because it seems to help keep things even cleaner, and I want my fish to be in the best environment possible. It’s been a good experience, so I think I’ll stick with these. I’ll probably order more soon, just to make sure I don’t run out.
