Choosing a UV Sterilizer for Esthetician Use? Read This First!

Okay, here is my sharing about how I got and used a UV sterilizer as an esthetician:

So, I’ve been working as an esthetician for a while now, and keeping things clean is a big deal. I mean, it’s super important, right? I was using regular sanitizers and stuff, but I always felt like it wasn’t enough. Then I started hearing about these UV sterilizers. They use this special light to kill germs. It sounded pretty cool, so I decided to check it out.

First, I went online and started looking up UV sterilizers. There are so many! I checked out a bunch of different ones, read reviews, and compared prices. I finally found one that seemed good and wasn’t too expensive. I ordered it, and it arrived a few days later.

When I got the sterilizer, I was pretty excited. It was a bit bigger than I expected, but it looked nice. I read the instructions carefully—very important!—and then I started using it. It’s actually pretty simple. I just put my tools in there, like my tweezers and extractors, close the lid, and press a button. The light turns on, and it does its thing for a few minutes. Then it turns off automatically. Easy peasy!

Here’s how I use it every day:

• Collect Tools

  After I use my tools on a client, I gather them up.

• Wipe Down

  I give them a quick wipe with a regular disinfectant wipe. Just to get rid of any visible stuff.

• Place in Sterilizer

  I put the tools inside the UV sterilizer. I make sure they’re not overlapping so the light can reach everywhere.

• Turn it On

  I close the lid and press the start button. The blue UV light comes on. It’s kind of cool to watch, but I know you’re not supposed to stare at it for too long. Because it will hurt your eyes.

• Wait

  I let it run for the recommended time. Usually, it’s just a few minutes. So I can set up for my next client during this period.

• Done

  The sterilizer turns off automatically. I take the tools out, and they’re all clean and ready to go!

Honestly, using this UV sterilizer has been great. I feel so much better knowing my tools are really clean. My clients seem to appreciate it too. It just gives everyone that extra peace of mind. And it makes me feel more professional, you know? So it’s been a good change for my daily routine, I get a lot of benefits from it!
