Choosing the Best Towel Warmer UV Sterilizer: A Comprehensive Buyers Guide to Features, Styles, and Top Brands!
Alright, so the other day, I finally got around to setting up that towel warmer UV sterilizer I bought a while back. You know, the one that’s supposed to keep your towels warm and germ-free? Yeah, well, let me tell you, it was a bit of an adventure.
First off, I unboxed the thing. It was bigger than I expected! It is really like the size of a mini-fridge. I cleared a space in my bathroom. This wasn’t too hard, just moved a couple of things around.
Next, I grabbed the instruction manual. Skimmed through it, you know, just to get the general idea. It looked pretty straightforward. I plugged in the device, and the power light came on. Good sign, I guess.
Then, I filled the little water tray at the bottom. Don’t ask me why it needs water, I guess for some steam action or something. Then, I tested it out. I threw in a damp towel. Closed the door, and hit the “warm” button. There’s also a “sterilize” button, but I figured I’d start with just warming.
I waited. And waited. After about 30 minutes, I opened it up. The towel was definitely warm, but not, like, hot-from-the-dryer warm. More like, lukewarm. I must have done something wrong. Maybe there are different settings that need to be adjusted. I pressed the button and set the highest level for warmth.
I decided to try the sterilize function. I put another towel in, pressed the “sterilize” button, and a little UV light turned on inside. It looked pretty cool, all blue and futuristic. I left it for the recommended time, about 20 minutes.
When I took the towel out, it was warm. I couldn’t really tell if it was sterilized or not, but I guess you just have to trust the process, right? Also, it doesn’t smell any different, not like disinfectant or anything. Anyway, I kept playing with it, trying different combinations of warming and sterilizing. I even tried putting in a dry towel to see if it would still warm it up, and it did, a little.
So, overall, it’s an interesting little gadget. It’s not exactly what I expected in terms of the heat, but I guess you can’t ask for too much. I am not sure about the sterilizing part, but at least my towels are kind of warm now. Still, I think I’ll keep this thing around. It’s kind of handy to have a warm, germ-free towel after a shower. And who knows, maybe I’ll figure out how to get it super toasty warm eventually. I am gonna keep playing around with it.
