Dexsorb Filter Cartridge Buying Guide: Get the Best One

Okay, here is my sharing about the “dexsorb filter cartridge”, hope you guys find it interesting.

So I heard about this thing called DEXSORB, they say it’s some kind of fancy new stuff that can get rid of bad things in the water. I got curious and wanted to see what the hype was all about. It is said to be a cyclodextrin adsorbent used in water-filtration systems.

Getting Started

First, I tried to find out where to get my hands on some of these DEXSORB filter cartridges. Turns out, it wasn’t as easy as going to the local store. I had to do some digging online. I found out it related to something called Purefast Home20. They said it provides both the removal of PFAS as well as regeneration and destruction to eliminate all disposal concerns.

Setting Up

Once I got the cartridge, the next step was figuring out how to use it. It wasn’t like those regular filters I was used to. This thing seemed a bit more complicated. It is said to utilize high-capacity and point-of-entry techniques.

  • I checked the box it came in, but the instructions were kind of confusing.
  • Looked for some videos online, but most of them were way too technical for me.
  • Finally found a simple guide that explained how to set it up. It wasn’t too hard once I understood the basics.

Testing It Out

With the filter all set up, I wanted to see if it really worked. I had some water that I knew wasn’t the cleanest. So I got it and put it through the filter.

  • Ran the water through the DEXSORB filter.
  • Collected the filtered water in a container.
  • Compared the filtered water to the original water.

Results

Honestly, I was pretty surprised. The water that came out of the filter looked and tasted a whole lot cleaner than before. It did seem like this DEXSORB thing actually did something. They said it can remove PFAS to nondetectable levels. I don’t know about that, but the water did improve a lot.

In the end, I think this DEXSORB filter cartridge is worth checking out if you’re serious about getting cleaner water. It’s a bit of a hassle to get and set up, but it seems to do what it promises. I’m no expert, but from what I saw, it made a real difference in the water quality.
