It’s pretty hefty, so make sure you hit a stud. Then, I just followed the instructions and connected the filter to my main water line. It is important to use Teflon tape on the threads to prevent leaks.

Once everything was hooked up, I slowly turned the water back on and checked for leaks. Luckily, no drips! I flushed the system for a few minutes, like the instructions said, to get rid of any loose carbon particles. The water was a little cloudy, to begin with, but it cleared up pretty fast.
