Securly Filter Cost: How Much Does It Cost for Safe Online Learning?

Today, I messed around with something called Securly Filter. It’s basically a tool to keep an eye on what kids are doing online and block stuff they shouldn’t be seeing. First, I signed up for an account on their website. It was pretty straightforward, just needed to give them some basic info.

After that, I downloaded their software. They have versions for all sorts of devices, like computers, tablets, and phones. I started with my laptop. The installation process was a breeze, just followed the on-screen instructions and it was done in a few minutes.

Once it was installed, I opened up the Securly dashboard. This is where you can see all the activity and set up the filters. It took me a bit to get my bearings, but once I did, it was pretty easy to navigate. I started by adding my kid’s profile. They let you create profiles for each kid, which is cool because you can customize the settings for each one.

• You can see what websites they’ve visited, what they’ve searched for, and even what videos they’ve watched.
• It’s pretty detailed, which I liked because it gives you a good idea of what’s going on.

I also played around with some of the other features, like the ability to set time limits for internet usage and pause the internet altogether. This is great for making sure they’re not spending too much time online and for getting them to focus on other things, like homework or chores.

Overall, I was pretty impressed with Securly Filter. It’s a powerful tool that gives you a lot of control over what your kids can access online.
