What is a Stainless Steel RO Membrane Housing?

We design a stainless steel RO membrane housing as a pressure vessel to contain reverse osmosis membrane elements.Typically made from high-quality stainless steel, its primary function is to provide a stable working environment for the RO membrane, withstand high-pressure water flow, and protect the membrane elements from external contamination and damage.

RO membrane Housing Material: We make the reverse osmosis membrane Housing from 304 stainless steel seamless tube. This material has excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.

Construction: The membrane shell usually consists of components like a cylinder, end caps, and seals. The cylinder, the main part, accommodates reverse osmosis membrane elements. We use end caps to seal both ends of the cylinder and form a sealed chamber with it. Seals ensure the sealing between the membrane shell and the membrane element.

Classification: We can divide the 304 stainless steel RO membrane Housing into clamp type, flange type, built – in type, etc. according to the end cap’s sealing form. According to the water inlet method, we can divide it into end inlet and side inlet.

Specification: We match the membrane shell’s length with the number of reverse osmosis membrane components. Common specifications include 4040 (4 inches), 8040, etc. The 4040 membrane Housing can accommodate 1 core, 2 cores, 3 cores, 4 cores, etc., and is commonly used as 1/2 core.
